I Still remember those were warm summer days, and our summer holidays had started. I's in my daily routine, reading Dainik jagran newspaper, where the headlines was a number, that had killed a person in the city. According to the newspaper, the businessman killed had got a call from an 11-digit mobile no., and at the night he was found dead. This news spread like a fire in the city. Everybody now feared to have mobile. They rather started selling their mobile. it was the time when the N-Series mobile was sell out in
Rs 1000/- in fear. There were a chaos in the city. Mobile stores were mostly shutting down. In few days, nearly 1000s of mobile were collected in the garbage area.
Every day the newspaper showed new persons murdered. So, no one was taking the calls.
After few days, due to real activeness of the police, they found out the origin of the call, and then attacked them. A fierce fight occured, killing 6 constables, and 9 of those terrorists. The people were relieved after this success of the police. But still, today people prefer landline than mobile in our city. The fear is still somewhere in their minds.
